Saurabh
Saran has more than 19 years of experience in insurance industry and
has held senior management positions in insurance companies
across India
and Middle East.
For the last couple of years he has been intensely involved
with integrating "quality"
into insurance operations and has developed a
Quality Model for the insurance industry. This
model can help any insurance company in assessing the
level of business excellence achieved. He has spearheaded
the quality drive of a large insurance company in Middle
East that is now reckoned as the torchbearer
of "quality"
in the insurance industry in Middle East.
His expertise
is on issues related to customer service processes,
risk management, business process re-engineering, organizational
development, establishment of call centers, relationship
management, change management, strategy development,
performance & process management, total quality
management and six sigma in the context of the insurance
industry.
He has
been the Team Leader and Assessor for the Dubai Quality
Award - a business excellence award instituted by the
Government of Dubai, UAE, for four years. He has conducted
assessments and analysis of some big financial sector
& manufacturing sector organizations against international
business excellence model criteria. He is a trained
Lead Assessor for certification against ISO 9001:2000
standards and has been closely involved in leading the
deployment of six sigma methodology.
His special
skills lie in leveraging the advantages offered by "quality"
and integrating them into insurance business operation.
Saurabh is also a trainer
for all levels of management and makes learning participatory
and effective. He is a post - graduate in Business Administration,
a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and is
also a member of Chartered Insurance Institute of UK.
